1. Blend together orange juice concentrate, milk, water, sugar, vanilla, and banana (if using) for 1 minute.

Tammy's Review:

This is a delicious, slightly sweet, creamy smoothie. The vanilla adds a great flavor, making this taste like an orange dreamsicle type of drink! :) It's also quick and easy to make. :) My rating: 10/10

I made this...

and hubby and I liked it. We used about 25 ice cubes, though. We like our drinks thick, like smoothies.

Yummy

My kids and I made this for "dessert" one evening. We loved it. We made a double batch and used a whole banana and it was very refreshing. My son now wants to try it with grape juice. He's already got a name for it. Grape Octavious!

I used to make this all the time!

Tammy, I used to make this frequently with the same proportions! It was wonderful--sweet though. And I didn't use the banana. The vanilla definitely highlights the flavours, so don't skip it.

So refreshing!

One of my favorite treats as a child was an Orange Julius. This recipe matches it very well!

Edited to add: This recipe also cures husbands of grumpiness. Mine told me that the one I fixed a couple days ago really helped to wake him up and brighten his mood! :-P
