November 26, 2006 -- Double Cranberry Crumb CakeThis week's recipe of the week is a delicious tea cake with cranberries! A couple weeks ago, I posted about Adagio Tea's "Tea Chef" contest. At that time, I had received my free sample of tea (oh, so yummy!!!!) and was formulating some good recipe ideas using the cranberry flavored tea. I made this moist and chewy (and very soft!) cranberry crumb cake, which uses brewed cranberry tea, fresh cranberries, and some tea leaves in the crumb topping part. It tasted better than it looked, but I was waiting for it to be posted on Adagio's website before sharing the recipe with everyone here! But here it is! My Double Cranberry Crumb Cake recipe on Adagio's Tea Chef website! If you go here, you can view all of the recipes that were submitted this month, using cranberry tea. And, you can vote for one of the recipes. From my understanding of the rules, a person doesn't need to have tried all or even any of the recipes to go vote on one. If you want to vote for mine, go ahead; however, I really am not out to see how many votes my recipe can get!
