Welcome to our newest guest chef, Jessica! Jessica C. loves this recipe for Chicken Parmesan, and says that she and her husband often eat it by candlelight for a romantic dinner together!

Jessica also says, "This recipe is so easy and tasty! I think it's a lot better then Chicken Parmesan from a resturant! ...breaded chicken breasts, with pasta and a marinara sauce, served with a green salad... it makes an appealing and colorful dinner."

Jessica says that her favorite cooking memory was "learning how to make whole wheat bread from scratch as a pre-teen. I was so proud of my beautiful loaves of bread!" Here are some cream cheese eclairs that Jessica also made, which look delicious!

Jessica's mom taught her how to cook and bake at a young age, "But," says Jessica, "I really didn't take a whole lot of responsibility with cooking until I got married and had to plan and execute 3 meals a day!" 

Jessica is newly married, she and her husband are expecting a baby in February! Jessica says, "My husband I both come from large families and are looking forward to having a family of our own. We are Christians and are very involved in our church."

When asked about meal planning, Jessica explained how she usually manages things. "I roughly plan my meals for the week and do all the shopping once a week. Sometimes I pre-cook in the morning and get it done with, but often I am cooking dinner when my husband gets home. I expect I will have to become more disciplined and organized once I have several children! ...I enjoy meal planning and grocery shopping (mostly because I get to shop!)."
