I've been making these Pumpkin Dinner Rolls every Thanksgiving for a number of years, but the photos with the recipe were old and unappetizing. :P Making a huge batch of dinner rolls on Thanksgiving morning and then heading off to a family gathering where they all disappear in 30 minutes means -- I haven't had time for new photos! :)

This year we'll be driving about 45 minutes and celebrating Thanksgiving Day with Joshua's family. Rather than attempting to transport hot rolls that far (plus, I want to sleep in a little!), I made our rolls today, and will wrap them in foil and re-warm them tomorrow for lunch. :)

I made a double batch, which used a quart of pumpkin, a quart of milk, and a couple dozen cups of flour. I frequently over-fill and over-work my bread machine but this definitely wouldn't have fit in there! I pulled out my biggest stainless steel mixing bowl and set to work. And I did get quite a workout kneading that much dough!! :)

I started mixing the rolls early this morning, and was able to get these new photos before the sun went back into hiding. :)
