In-Season Recipe Swap: Onions!

I love onions! I do lots of cooking with onions, but usually as a flavoring/seasoning rather than a vegetable. For today's recipe swap, however, I added my recipe for French Onion Soup!
This soup is actually very easy to make, and is fun to serve as an appetizer for a nice dinner! :)

The flavorful beef broth is loaded with tender onion slices. Garlic and thyme provide the perfect flavor for the soup. Yum!!

I'm not sure if this one will work for your recipe swap? It does not feature onions, but they are included. Sage Sausage Bread: http://www.justdoingmybest.com/index.php/2009/10/27/sage-sausage-bread/

Now, you can make us all some of that delicious looking onion soup.

This soup looks so good I wish I liked onions!!!

I've never had french onion soup, and even though I *love* onions, it always sounds kind of gross. I'll have to try your recipe though :)
