Pizza variety: Grilled Chicken Pizza

Grilled chicken pizza, before being baked

Joshua's Grilled Chicken Pizza is a favorite for summer... have I mentioned lately how much I love Joshua's grill? :)

Mini peppers from Costco

We love these mini peppers from Costco. A 2-pound bag is under $4, and I counted over 40 multi-colored peppers of various sizes. That's just 10 cents a pepper! They're great for salads, nachos, tacos, pizza, or just snacking!

If I run out of bread (I know, it shouldn't happen, right? But it does!) I plan an impromptu pizza dinner and send leftovers in Joshua's lunch the next day. Lucky for me, he loves cold pizza! :)

Are you having pizza tonight? :) We usually have it on Fridays but I made it last night (Thursday) instead... so tonight I think it'll be... well, something different, that's all I know. Still planning. Hmmm. What sounds good?!

I made Pizza last night too!

I like the idea of eating Pizza on Friday nights, because it's one of my favorite dinners -- but it's also about the easiest thing to make, so it often ends up being a weeknight dinner.

Tonight I have some chicken in the crockpot with carrots. I'll also make brussell sprouts and that will be it :-)

Oooh

Your pizza looks SO good, Tammy! Our favorite pizza toppings are ham, onion and pineapple.

We're not having pizza tonight, we're having salmon patties, roasted veggies and salad.

That looks really good!

That looks really good!

Peppers

Tammy....
I. too, love the deal we get at Sam's Club for the multi colored peppers.... So great.... When onions were on sale a while back I bought a bag of these peppers and 10 lbs of onions.... Just chopped, put in food processor and put on cookie sheet in freezer.... in about an hour they were all ready for baggies and I had tons of ready made peppers and onions for all types of dishes. The great thing about the peppers I get, there are so few seeds that I just add them in (less work, yeah!) and nothing has been too hot for our family of five, with several members not being able to handle anything more than an extra mild salsa. I do chop some very fine and others pretty chunky so no matter what I am wanting.... sauces, fajitas, etc they are cut the way I like them for the particular dish I am using them for. I just love spending a 30 minute period prepping these and knowing I am through for a very long while and it just makes it so easy that any family member can add them, even those lazy ones who don't want alot of prep work and we find we are eating more of them (which is another great way to add more veggies to our diets). I so look forward to your posts and just couldn't wait to share what is such a blessing for me.
Have a great day.
Blessings....

We're having a different

We're having a different kind of "cheese pie" tonight: quiche!

Pizza

We had Pizza tonight. this is the first time I made individual pizza's (5 of them) for our family of 5. One kid had plain cheese with tomato sauce; one had olive oil with corn, hamburger, grilled red onions and cheese; and 2 had corn, tomato sauce and cheese. Momma had olive oil, corn, hamburger, mozzarella and parmesean cheese. We ate them out on the back deck! what a great night.

No pizza tonight

We usually have friday night pizza, but my 39 week pregnant energy has evaporated and its hot dogs, chips and veggies for us tonight! I do love homemade pizza though!

We made pizza last night!

I used your crust recipie and directions, but used jarred Alredo sauce, chopped(by my 7yo) onion and fake crab meat. It actually turned out really tasty. Thanks for the great crust recipe. The other ones I have used didn't work. I doubled the recipe for our family of 7, soon to be 8 and used the bread machine. Blessings!

Looks great

Good deal on the peppers.A couple weeks ago I chopped up 3# of onions and put them in zip lock bags in the freezer.I tossed them in the bag as soon as I cut them up.I hit it against the counter if they stick together and they come apart easy.

Last night for dinner we had grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and fruit cocktail and mexican tea.

My favorite grilled pizza

I love grilled pizza...we have it almost every week. If you're looking for a new recipe, here's a good one. I have yet to make my own crust, but we almost always grill this recipe instead of using the oven--even in the middle of winter. We've had friends over to try this several times and they all love it.
