Soup from this week: Broccoli Cheese

Broccoli cheese soup

Photographing soups is just not my specialty.

The soup that tasted better than it looked: Creamy Broccoli Cheese Soup!

Joshua loves this soup. We all do, actually!

When we had Samuel, you bought this soup over. Don likes mine, but it is too thick for his taste. He liked how thin yours was.

I have a soup recipe almost exactly like yours, only mine calls for broken up angel hair pasta. We love it, I usually make a big batch and freeze some for later.

I have a recipe for brocoli cheese soup on my site. We love it. I like the brocoli chopped really fine and mine uses cheddar cheese. I prefer that to processed type cheeses. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Do you think it would be possible to use a bag of frozed already chopped broccoli?

Blessings,
Beth

I've been in search of the perfect broccoli cheese soup recipe. Your recipes have yet to fail me; I better give this one a try!

Thanks so much for the recipes, Tammy:)
Dh loves broccoli, so I'm sure he would really like this soup. Time to go shopping!

I love broccoli cheese soup. Thanks for sharing - it looks great!

I would love to try this..this weekend. We are going grocery shopping this weekend too. So I can pick up everything needed then.

I was really in the mood for a good soup and after seeing this recipe posted I thought I would make it too...only while shopping I bought some leeks and then remembered your cauliflower soup.
So I mixed the recipes together and made a broccoli, leek, potato cheese soup.
It actually turned out really good and I froze a bunch as well! Yum!
I was able to get away with omitting the butter and milk. The potatoes thickened it well on their own- go figure!

This was beyond good. I added garlic, smoked ham, and rice. We really enjoyed this meal.
