I decided to make this cake for my family today, in honor of Tammy's birthday. ;-) I don't think I let the cake cool long enough before putting on the topping and I let it broil a bit too long (my fault), but otherwise it turned out really good. Very yummy flavor, and I'm guessing that'll be even better tomorrow, like most spice cakes. It'd be perfect served with vanilla ice cream.
