
Fried seasoned egg noodles with carrots, onions, and snow peas
2 c uncooked egg noodles
1/3 c sliced carrots
1/4 c chopped onions
1 c snow peas
2 T butter
garlic salt, to taste
a pinch or less of black pepper
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese
1. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
2. In non-stick skillet, heat butter, carrots, and onions. Fry until carrots are crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
3. Add snow peas, noodles, garlic salt, and pepper, tossing well. Add additional butter if needed. Fry until noodles are very slightly browned (snow peas should not be overcooked).
4. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and stir to coat.

I created this side dish to add some variety with our meals, since we so often eat a plain cooked vegetable. I love the garlic and parmesan flavors, and the crispness of the vegetables. It's easy to prepare and looks great on the plate. My rating: 10/10
