We have two memory cards for our camera, which is (of course) mostly used for pictures of food. During the day, I use one of the memory cards in the camera (in the kitchen). When I'm ready to blog (usually after the children are asleep for the night!), I take the memory card with me to the office upstairs. The camera stays in a kitchen cupboard! ;)
After blogging (and using pictures from the memory card) I head to bed for the night. I don't give the memory card another thought until breakfast or lunch time the next day... when there's food to photograph.
So, it sometimes happens that when I tell Joshua that it's time to eat, I also ask him to bring the memory card from the office for me, or, I run to the office quickly to get it myself.
Sometimes I have Yehoshua tell Joshua that dinner is ready. One time, I told Yehoshua to "tell Dad that the food is ready, and ask him to bring the memory card with him."
I heard him talking to Joshua. "Daddy, Mom says the food is ready, and can you bring the mem--me--mem--mem-- the camera card with you?" :) After that, I helped him with the word "memory" and he can say it just fine now. ;)
Yesterday, I told Yehoshua to call Joshua for dinner. I heard him saying, "Dad, it's time to eat! We need the memory card, too!" I laughed and said that I already had the memory card in the kitchen. :) I guess Yehoshua must hear us talk about the memory card quite a bit, since he added that part onto his message! ;)

Hey Tammy -
I have been visiting your site for a long time now and just registered today.
I wasn't sure where to ask questions other than just commenting to your posts. So this is sort of off topic (and not at all cooking-related).
I have come to admire what I read of your parenting. You seem to have a wonderful balance between discipline and enjoying life with your family.
I have two little ones who are 2 1/2 and 1 year old. I struggle with finding things to do that include both of them and find myself leaving the house way too often just to be able to keep them both (and myself) occupied. From what I have read, you seem to stay home most of the time and I was wondering if you could give some advice for keeping things running smoothly all day with two little ones. I know you do your cooking/cleaning/etc. while your little ones are awake. Please help me figure out how to include them in these things! Trying to clean with both of them running about is not just a waste of time - things end up worse off than they were before I started.
Also - I was wondering if you have used a child-raising "method" or what standards you use for raising your little ones.
I know you get tons of questions. I look forward to reading about these things when you have the time.
Thanks!
Melissa
