Photo from the first few months of pregnancy...

 Baby belly...

I really enjoyed having pictures from the different stages of my last pregnancy, and so this evening Joshua took a picture of my growing tummy. :)

As in most of my pregnancy pictures, I'm either forgetting to smile, or not aware that the picture is being taken yet! ;) So I guess this grumpy-face picture will have to do for now. :)

This pregnancy is continuing as it has for the past few months, though some days I do feel more "normal" now, instead of constant sickness. I feel little baby movements, and the heartburn which lasted for a week is now gone. Yay! :)

I'm wearing a combination of small maternity shirts and still a lot of my larger regular-wear shirts, since I don't like anything too tight. :)

I'm continuing to hope for more "better" days, and starting to feel more like planning things (like meals, which have been sadly lacking for months now!). :)

It's so nice to see a picture of you. You look so cute! (despite the "grumpy face")
Hope you keep having more good days and no more feeling sick days.

You're so cute!

You have seemed more upbeat lately, and I've appreciated your cool and fresh summer recipes! I'm sure you're not grumpy all the time. ;-)

Any chance of twins?

You look great, with just the preggo tummy! Do you know if you are having more than one yet? We're having our 4th, a little boy, due in January.

You look healthy, which is always a good thing. How far along are you in this picture?

Looking good

You are looking great! I am 17 weeks along, and not looking at all as pregnant as you (trying not to be jealous!). :) But then, this is my first pregnancy, too. I am loving feeling baby, though!

Thanks for your faithful posts!

I dont think I cooked at all last summer..:/

Sadly, I never got back to cooking during my last pregnancy, being so sick. Probably about 2-3 times per week, I would make something easy that didnt take much thought, (like rice lasagna or grilled chicken) but most nights it was smoothies and salads or grilled cheese and tomato soup.

I hope you get more motivation. The smell of cooking kept me out the kitchen.

You look Great!

Tammy, Glad you are begining to feel better, you do look healthy! I am 36 weeks now and have taken regular 'belly pictures' for the first time in any of my pregnancies. I have very little motivation in the kitchen but I have been putting freezer meals away nonetheless.

You look great!

I love the way pregnant mommies look, especially seeing the little baby bump. Babies are my favorite. If they'd only stay that little for longer! I'm glad to hear you are over the initial morning sickness.

What a sweet picture :). You look wonderful! I love that phase of pregnancy where baby is big enough to make him/herself known yet not quite heavy enough to cause much discomfort. But, I have specific things I love about each phase :)!

Pregnancy update

Awww, thank you all for your kind comments. :)

Cathy, I'd be surprised if we had twins, but, at this point, I really wouldn't know, since we've only briefly heard the heartbeat a couple times, and aren't planning an ultrasound. :) Congrats on your new little boy... Eliyahu was a January-baby, and I thought having him at that time really helped the winter months fly by! :)

Kim, I'm guessing 3-4 months. For various reasons, we don't have a set due date and that's okay with us... especially after our other two babies being 17 and 29 days "late"! We're looking forward to being surprised yet again. :)

To the anonymous 17-week mama... don't worry! I looked really small with my first baby, too. People always told me I looked tiny! I don't think I showed much at all, even at 20 weeks. Remember, this time around I looked a little "pregnant" before I ever got pregnant. ;)

Emily, yes! It's the smells! I can't believe how suddenly I can feel so nauseated just from smelling some food or even taking a long drink of water... it's crazy! I was never that sensitive to smells with my other two. Is it a girl-thing? Were you like that with your boys, too? :)

Shelby, I love every age, too. I have so enjoyed my children throughout their lives and I keep thinking, "How could parenting be any more exciting or fun?!" (Not that I don't have my "I'm-completely-exhausted-and-ready-to-give-up" moments too...) ;)

You look WONDERFUL!!!

Shorty

You look fantastic!

Awww...i love the belly picture! and for what it's worth...at least in my experience, I was far more "sick" in my girl pregnancies than my boy one. the girl pregnancies were just about indentical, same cravings at same points of pregnancy and everything...i was sick all day. it would improve, but never really "go away"...i always felt nausea to some extent until i was closer to 20 weeks along. With my only boy (so far!) pregnancy it would come in waves..i would feel like my normal self and then whammo!! running for the toilet...then i'd feel totally normal again! it was so crazy! smells of meats browning would send me to the other end of the house with the girls, whereas i didn't experience that at all with Joey. Things did taste different with him though, and that never happened with the girl pregnancies! it was so interesting to experience!! and this is just my own experience...it may be completely different for you! ;)

are you going to make belly pictures a "regular" feature for your readers? *hint hint! nudge nudge! wink wink!*

you look so cute! i love little baby bumps! makes me want to be pregnant again!! *giggles*

Although I haven't been

Although I haven't been commenting in such a long time, I could not pass this post by. ;) I loved seeing your pregnant pic! and you are looking really good and hopefully you will be feeling a lot better soon. Is it true that the 2nd trimester is the best? God bless your growing little one!

:)

Wow, I didn't know you were that far along already! I can't wait to hear news of the next little one being born! :) I'm glad your morning sickness is starting to ease off, and that you're having more energy. :)

Not what I imagined :)

For some reason, I always pictured you as much older. I have NO idea why, LOL. May I be rude and ask how old you are? (Approximation is fine...I'm guessing late 20s.)

Pregnancy, etc.

Kristy, thanks for sharing! I think with all of my pregnancies, I haven't really felt like I was having a particular gender rather than the other, and it's exciting to be surprised! :) And yes, I do hope to continue taking pregnancy photos, and will certainly share them in my blog if my readers don't mind. :)

Jaclynn, thank you! I thought both the 2nd and 3rd trimesters were great, but I know some women get very uncomfortable towards the end. With both of my boys, I felt wonderful and had no clue that they were 'coming' when they did! :)

Bethany, thank you. :)

Amanda, that's funny! Well, most people who meet me face-to-face think I look like I'm still in my teens, so I'm used to people thinking I'm a lot younger than I really am! I'm actually 25. :) Joshua and I have been married for 5 years now... time sure does pass quickly! :)

You look cute! I have to

You look cute! I have to take some pics of my baby belly too...Im due in February with our 3rd as well...hoping for a girl this time...we have two boys also!

Oh, that's funny! :) Will

Oh, that's funny! :) Will you find out the gender before the birth? We like being surprised. :)

Tammy,
Aww =)
I love seeing pics of pregnant ladies and you are no exception. ;)
I think you are having a girl.... are you hoping for a girl this time?
Though I'm sure you would definitely count another boy as a blessing! ( I would too!)
I hope you have more "better" days too and no more sickness... ick!

Boy or girl...

Thanks, Samantha! Actually, I really don't have a preference about our new baby's gender... I have boys clothes already, so in some ways it would be easiest to just have another boy! :) I'm sure that having a girl would be different and fun, too... I guess I am not particular. :D

Looking Good

I saw you at the post office the other day and you look good. The boys will be a little more helpful with this baby. The older the children get the more help they are.

Tammy's picture

Thanks! :)

Yes! :) I think expecting another baby is a good excuse (or motivating factor ;D) to remember to train Yehoshua and Eliyahu to be more capable of doing things for themselves and for the family. :)
