It's so good to be home! Thanks for your prayers and patience with this blog during the past week (and longer)!
As Joshua mentioned in his updates, I haven't been feeling very well at all recently, and though the nausea seems to be lessening, I'm not getting my hopes up too much yet. ;) After having two fairly easy pregnancies (very little nausea, and mostly tiredness), this one has been more of a challenge. I'm sure I'll be more appreciative of my normal level of energy once it returns!! :)
A couple weeks ago, Yehoshua got a cough, which was mostly at night, and didn't seem to be anything major. A few days after Yehoshua stopped coughing, Eliyahu got a cough, which quickly turned to a fever and wheezing. By the next evening, I was very concerned about him, and when I asked Joshua to look at him (he had just woke from a nap), Joshua said what I had been thinking myself -- that he needed to go to the emergency room.
Since Joshua needed to go to work soon, I called my mom and she came over and took Yehoshua, Eliyahu, and me to the local ER. They looked at Eliyahu, gave him some breathing treatments (by this time he could hardly breathe and was very lethargic), and determined from x-ray that he had pneumonia. Because he was so little, and wasn't responding as quickly as they thought he should, they decided that they wanted to send him to Toledo... by helicoptor!
My mom took Yehoshua home with her for the night (it was nearing midnight by now), and I got to ride with Eliyahu. I felt only slightly guilty for enjoying a ride that was surely extremely expensive. :|

Eliyahu continued improving at the hospital, and we were there until Friday afternoon, by which time he was practically back to normal. This hospital stay and illness felt so different from last year's incident with Yehoshua's broken leg. I just kept thinking how thankful I was! It's kind of nice to know that not all hospital stays are as horrible as the ones where you come home with a 2-year-old in a hip spica cast. This felt like a vacation in comparison! :)

Yehoshua is glad to have his little brother back home (and even tried on this outfit of Eliyahu's today, just for fun... while Eliyahu walked around the house wearing Yehoshua's size 10 shoes! lol), and we're working our way through the laundry, bills, and other silly little things that somehow pile up when things aren't functioning as usual. :)
Thanks again for your prayers! We're praising our heavenly Father for Eliyahu's quick recovery. :)

I'm so glad things are getting somewhat back to normal for you all.
I hope you get to feeling better soon, Tammy. I can't imagine being so sick with your pregnancy and then having to go through this ordeal, too. However, I know that God gives extra grace when we need it most and it sounds like He carried you through wonderfully.
Now if only that helicopter ride could be complimentary! :(
