My little explorers

Eliyahu explores the flower bed...

Having children is so... good. Besides all the fun, there are the many glimpses into faith and love that I would have missed if I weren't a mom. It's tiring at times, and definitely challenging at times, too! But it's good to be challenged. It's good to be stretched. It's probably even good to never get to sleep in anymore... my little guys really keep me going... even when I'm soooo tired!

But enough rambling... here are a few pictures of life as a toddler... in our backyard... :)

Oh, dirt... fun!

Here are the two explorers, checking out the flower bed. There's black plastic under the mulch, and they love to try to pull it up... :)

My little Eliyahu...

Eliyahu is growing into such a sweet little boy... no longer much of a baby. I think that having an older brother gives Eliyahu a lot of excitement, and challenges him to jump in and "be one of the big guys". His little kisses are the BEST, he loves to go "bye bye" (meaning away or even just outside... and he asks to go bye-bye multiple times each day!), and he has a little temper.

Yehoshua on his tricycle...

Yehoshua is creative. I love the things he comes up with. Our neighbor has a red riding lawn mower, and so now Yehoshua's tricycle is his lawn mower, and he rides it through the grass. :)

Worth it.....

Having children is so enjoyable and yet very challenging too, but again so worth it! Your two boys are so sweet, it was amazing to watch them when we were visiting you last, they grow so fast. :)
