Kefir grains for two...

Is anyone interested in some kefir grains, so you can make your own kefir?

I have enough extra kefir grains to ship some to two different people (U.S. only, since kefir is somewhat time-sensitive). Registered users, leave a comment if you are interested. I'll do a drawing and email the two winners to get their address. :)

You have until Tuesday night (June 5) to comment if you're interested. :) I'm hoping to get my extra grains mailed Thursday morning. I'm tired of making 3-4 cups of kefir every day. ;) Time to share the fun! :)

Haha you think we would give up our uber secret recipies?! Ok, we would... smoothie recipes should be coming later this summer. With kefir it is really simple though, just substitute kefir for yogurt. e.g. 1 c. kefir, 1 banana, 1/2 c. strawberries, blend to perfection. Add some apple juice concentrate or pineapple juice for sweetness if desired. Enjoy :)

I have been wanting to make kefir for a while (I figured out how to make yogurt so I'm not *scared* of DIY dairy products anymore LOL).

Kefir grains

Tammy where did you get your grains? I have looked all over at differnt stores in Mesa AZ and I can't find it at all. Help!
