Let's just say it's not often enough! I have my excuses though. I'll wait for the guilty party to 'fess up first! (Hint, hint, Joshua, when you read this... ;D)
I will admit however that I do not eat peas and green beans too often. I like them in stew and soup:) My family likes all of the mentioned vegis so I lucked out;)
Shorty
A fresh green salad sounds good right now! Lots of fresh tomatoes, cucumber and green onion! One of my kiddo's will only eat salad with ranch and when the ranch is gone...no more salad. My honey will eat them occasionally but does not object to us having them as a choice with our dinner. So I could do it more often than I do. DeDe
That's our 7 year old's FAVORITE dinner. He always asks, "Can we have salad for dinner?"
Especially in the spring and summer, we eat ONLY a salad for dinner, topped with tomatoes, carrots, red cabbage, green peas, chick peas, mushroons, raisins, sunflower seeds...oh I could go on forever! We eat some sort of green, leafy salad at least 3 times a week, often more.
I like that I don't have to COOK anything to have a salad, so it's quicker and easier for me after a long day at work.
I love salad (especially spinach) but I don't buy the stuff enough anymore. We're hoping to grow lettuce in our garden again this year, and maybe spinach.. so I can have a salad anytime I want! When I do have the stuff for a salad, I'll eat one every day - a couple times a week.
We go through spurts where we'll have it several times in a week and then not for a while so I guess my answer is more an average. :)
We eat more in the summer time since I grow lots and it is fresh. It is nice not having to wonder where it came from, who picked it, and all the other stuff you'd rather not know. :P LOL!
And so does my husband.I guess I am lazy and don't feel like cutting all the veggies up all the time. Now that it is getting warmer we will be having salads alot more.I would like it with almost every dinner!
My family adores vegetables of all kinds, especially salads, so I usually serve salad with lunch and dinner. I like trying different greens or additional vegetables (Iartichokes! mushrooms! etc) to keep it interesting.
I have actually had salad for breakfast once (but I was in a hurry to get out the door and there was nothing else handy!).
We love salad, too. I am looking forward to growing several kinds of lettuce in our garden this year and eating it at both lunch and supper. Since I am a mom of two and try not to go out TOO much, it is hard to keep fresh veggies on hand all the time. I'd say we average several times a week - more if we have lettuce on hand and (obviously) less if we don't. =D

Dare I even admit to my answer?

not as often as I'd like
At home, we try for once a day. But I love salads and love having one twice a day if we have the stuff. : D

About once a day, we have come to really enjoy our salads. :) ~Tanya
I voted once or twice per week.
