Energy!

I feel energetic! Wheeeee! This is a little out-of-character for me. Hopefully I can actually get some things done that I've been procrastinating about!

I think it's a combination of factors, but as un-materialistic as I try to be, I just love new things! And someone blessed me today with two big boxes of "things"* (stay tuned for some tea reviews!!) and I'm excited about finding places to put everything.

I love organizing and replacing something worn-out with something new. I get antsy when my shampoo bottle is nearing the end, because I love throwing away that old empty bottle and getting a full one! Sounds rather contrary for someone who tries to be frugal. ;)

There is also some very wintery weather in the forecast tonight and tomorrow, and that makes me feel all, hmn, there has to be a better name for it than "nesting". I'm not pregnant! :)

So, the mental blog posts I have will just have to wait... I'm off to make the most of this burst of energy! :)

*You're definitely a mom when you get excited that a gift contains childrens' toys, because you know that means the children will have something to do while you look at what was given to you! :)

I'm excited about the snow, too. I'm going to cook some potato-based soup. Want me to write about it for you? LOL! ;)
