Good

These were okay, came out a little dry even though I only baked them for 16 minutes and could definitely use more lemon flavor.

Not a fan

This rice tasted like creamed onions, which I really don't like. Maybe if you use less and chop them and cook until well done.

LOVE!

These are fantastic! Cheesy, flavorful and can be made without the chicken for a cheap meal.

A keeper

Very tasty...MUCH better than the store bought "stuff". :D
I also like how the recipe makes a good amount and I can start it in the bread machine.
Thanks for sharing!

Honey Mustard Viniaigrette

I made this today and my entire family loved it. I made it with the dijon mustard and followed the recipe but increased the honey to 1/3 cup. Excellent!

Teen Approved!

My family loved these burritos. I used canned beans, so I rinsed them and added a bit of cumin. We also were out of aluminum foil, so I baked them, seam side down on a cookie sheet. My teen boys devoured them and hubby and I were quite pleased as well. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

So fun to make

I had a great time making these tonight! I used my bread maker to start and it was really easy from start to finish. I loved watching them puff up into big balls. My kids loved how they tasted. I'll be making these again!

Great recipe

I could not find spinach wraps locally and found this wonderful recipe. I used a large food processor to mix and blend all the ingredients. I pulsed the processor until all the ingredients came together in a ball and then followed the remaining directions. Flavor is much better than store bought and I found that if I left the tortilla a little longer on the pan, it became more dry and stiff. I used the drier tortilla as a thin "pizza" shell. I spread the "shell" with homemade hummus and the topped it with fresh vegetables. I have not eaten any meat (beef, pork or chicken) since New Year's eve and with recipes like this, I don't miss it.

Yum!

Tammy,

I made pinto beans this week, but I used my new electric pressure cooker. I didn't soak them first and they took about 1 hour. We've been using your ideas....having them as a lunch side with cheese as well as additions for tacos/burritos....we've loved them! Thank you for the idea!

Fabulous using ground chicken!

I have made this using ground chicken instead of beef, and it turned out absolutely fabulous! Although I prefer beef over chicken, it is lower in fat and equal in taste to the beef, and does well as a pizza topping or snack. I have it in the oven as I type, and can't wait to get it out tonight! Love this recipe!

Surprisingly delish

The recipe really doesn't make much sauce, so I'll be doubling it next time! That said, this is surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much since it's such a small, simple recipe. It's very easy to prepare and doesn't take long to cook at all. The taste is just simple enough to be enjoyable. And it looks pretty, too. I used fresh mushrooms instead of canned as I like the way they taste better when fresh. About 1/4 - 1/3 cup diced mushrooms should do the trick. I used 1/3 and it wasn't too much (though, I LOVE mushrooms). I'll definitely be making this again.

Simple & Good

This was a good cole slaw, easy to put together. I took a previous commenter's advice and only put the dressing on the serving size I needed. It ended up with quite a bit of liquid at the bottom. Also, both my husband and I have had better cole slaw - maybe we prefer slightly creamy - but our guests liked it and it was very easy to make.

A big hit!

I made these yesterday for guests and they were a bit hit, among toddlers and adults alike. I used frozen broccoli and frozen diced green pepper because that's what I had on hand. Just put them in boiling water for a couple of minutes. The whole wheat dough turned out great.

Weinarchs Cookies (Austrian)

These were off the hook. The sweet balance was what I needed to make 'em, and this recipe worked perfectly. I didn't even have to refrigerate, but I did anyway, but they came out coo'. I'm not used to jelly or jam filled sandwich cookies, but this worked out nice. Took sum pics and tried to upload, but lost the data so. Minus the chocolate (mint sounds bom tho), I did these puppies plane as Jane. Turned out coo' in the end, thanks for the guidance...

Great oatmeal

This is a good baked oatmeal. I like the creamier texture than others I've had. Didn't add anything to it to eat and it was yummy.

Good

This is pretty decent and much healthier than the "Homestyle Bake" that is very similar. As someone who had never made homemade biscuits, I was a bit overwhelmed preparing this. But now that I know how to make biscuits, I'm sure I won't be so overwhelmed next time. It isn't as flavorful as I thought it would be, but it taste just good enough to please. I served it with biscuits and mashed potatoes and wanted to point out that it taste good over mashed potatoes, too.

Awesome!

This cream is awesome! I was making a recipe that called for 2 cans of cream soup, which I can't use because of MSG. Usually I would just make up the recipe as I go along, but I wanted something more trustworthy since I was having company. I followed this recipe and it was awesome! Loved it! Thank you, Tammy.

Excellent recipe

I made this recipe & it was fabulous! I used a little more flour (2 cups total), & an additional teaspoon of sugar of because I felt the batter was too thin (I like it thicker) and it was delicious. I poured the batter into the waffle iron & sprinkled pecans on top (pecan waffles are my favorite!) This one is a definite keeper! If you can find pecan extract or vanilla butter & nut extract (the bottle will say "vanilla butter & nut") add a teaspoon if you are making waffles that will have nuts in them like my pecan waffles.

Great burger

The best black bean burger I've had - actually the only, so I have nothing to compare. But the hot sauce gives a flavorful kick. I don't use cilantro because my husband doesn't like it. We always top with guacamole which also gives good flavor.
