Way better than I anticipated!

I was nervous about making my own soft pretzels, afraid they wouldn't end up tasting much like a pretzel. I was wrong! Not only was this recipe easy (and the directions VERY easy to follow), but I can't believe how well they turned out! I will definitely be making this again.

Best Ever!

Ok so I must admit i messed it up! I didnt read that it was for instant active yeast, I used active yeast without "waking it up"! But the loaf turn out great. Made it last night around midnight, we now have half of the loaf left! Big hit with the kids! Thanks Tammy.

Chili

Can this chili be frozen?

Note from Tammy: Yes! This chili freezes great.

My modification...

I modified this a little, I use coconut oil instead of butter, and I only use 2 cups of oats; and then I add 1/2 cup of unsweetened shredded coconut, 1/2 cup of nuts (slivered almonds, this week I'm trying pecans), 1/2 flax seed, and I keep the 1 cup of chocolate chips. Delicious and healthy!!!

Delicious!

Yummy!! Just was comtemplating having some afternoon coffee and saw this! I used 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, cocoa, and coffee and a teeny tiny splash of vanilla. I am pregnant and have been working on cutting out my caffeinated coffee from my day, so I made this with decaf. Still delicious! Thanks! :-)

Best Waffles Ever is Right!!!

Tammy, this was the most amazing waffle recipe I've ever used! I rarely use my waffle iron out of fear of over-flowing it or burning them; however, your recipe was so perfect - nice and thick batter that doesn't run. We really enjoyed our breakfast today because of you! God bless you, dear!

These are Delicious!

So good, and easier than I thought they'd be. Was going to make them again for family visiting this weekend but accidentally bought sugar free vanilla pudding (not something I think the yeast will enjoy), so I'm going to try them with butterscotch.

Love This Rice Recipe With a Southern Flair

I make this about once a week. It has become a staple. I used to buy Zatarain's New Orleans Style Yellow rice. Now I use this recipe instead. I made it as written the first time and fell in love with it. Now I use the same basic recipe and add my own flare by adding stuff like:
-Red Pepper
-Chicken Cubes
-Chicken Bullion
-Parsley
-Creole Seasoning

Best Money saver

I make Green Chili Enchiladas, and I use cream of chicken as my base for the sauce and this saves me money and taste great. I use what I need and freeze the rest. Wow I am loving it.....

Soooooo Goooood!!!

Made these yesterday and they are so good! Have tried many granola bar recipes and this is the best one. My neighbor had one today and wanted the recipe. Great for my husbands lunches. Love how fast they are to make, no more store bought bars for us. I added dried cranberries, toasted almonds, and pecans with the chocolate chips. Thanks for sharing Tammy.

TERRIBLE

This is a terrible, terrible recipe. The waffles do not brown properly because the recipe doesn't call for salt! They were mushy as hell and made a huge horrible mess all over my kitchen!!!!!! DO NOT MAKE THESE WAFFLES!!!!

yummy...new to making kefir

We ate these this morning and loved them. VERY good. I just started making my own kefir this week. When using kefir in the recipe, I am curious about what the heat from cooking does to all the good stuff in the kefir....any ideas?

Oh, such wonderful comfort food!

I made this chicken gravy tonight. It was a big hit! I used the water I boiled the chicken in rather than chicken broth and frozen mixed vegetables. My children loved it!

I didn't use the biscuit recipe. I had pinned a recipe for 7-up biscuits that I wanted to try. I don't usually stock Bisquick and I purchased it for the biscuit recipe. I bet I could use your recipe for biscuits and replace the milk with 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of 7-up.

As always ~ thanks!!!

Used this crust tonight

Great, sturdy thin crust! I used it for a pizza tonight with alfredo sauce and pepperoni. Had 1 1/2 c sauce leftover from pasta night and piled on the toppings with no tears or bubbles!

I used my pizza stone so I had to roll out the dough to keep my fingers intact, but this helped me get the crust super thin! Delicious & buttery! Even my toddler, who usually eats only the toppings off of his slice ate two WHOLE pieces.

I'll definitely be making two next time so we have leftovers for lunch! Can't wait to try the suggested toppings!

Awesome!!

Made these muffins after getting the recipe from our daughter's blog covenanthomemaking.com. They ARE absolutely delicious. I made a couple of substitutions. For example, Instead of white flour, I used whole wheat pastry flour which made the batter a bit denser and not as easy to stir; instead of regular sugar, I used sucanat; and instead of regular oil, I used expeller pressed organic coconut oil.

Yum!

I have so much zucchini, so I'm always happy to find a new way to use it. I really, really liked this! It's quick, easy and delicious! I topped mine with a little parm - mmm good!

Delicious!

My husband and I love this! We're both new to quinoa, so we don't know what to do with it. The few things I've tried haven't impressed my husband, but he loves this! What a great use for quinoa, and a tasty way to make pudding guilt-free :) I used skim milk in mine, and egg substitute. It didn't get very thick, but it was so good and we didn't mind at all.
