Porcelain

We have Porcelain in our rental house. It works well enough although I agree with Linsey, stainless steel is very nice as well. If I were building a home I would be looking at stainless... of course since Tammy does most of the dishes I would probably let her make the final decision ;)

I like shiny kitchen sinks...

...but our porcelain one does the job, even with stains and lack of luster :). It is really HARD, though, and I've broken some dishes on it :| It works great to crack eggs on the side though! Now I'm used to cracking eggs on the sink, and when I was at my mom's house, I tried to crack an egg on her stainless steel sink... it didn't work nearly so well! :D

But I AM surprised by how many people have porcelain sinks! I also wonder what the "other" material is that some people voted for...? :)
