
A hot shredded chicken sandwich filling recipe
4 sandwiches
2 cups cooked chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces*
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
salt, to taste
water or chicken broth, as needed
4 buns or 6-8 slices of bread, for serving
1. Heat oil in small skillet or saucepan. Add chopped chicken and spices. Stir to shred chicken as it heats. Add water or chcken broth if mixture gets too dry.
2. Serve over buns or bread for a tasty hot chicken sandwich!
*I like to use leftover chicken from roasted chickens for this.

This is a delicious hot chicken sandwich recipe. It's a great use for leftover chicken, and makes a quick lunch. You can also leave this in a crock pot until ready to eat or for serving at parties; just add additional chicken broth or water so that it doesn't get too dry. :) My rating: 10/10.
