Grilled Garlic Herb Turkey Burgers

A flavorful grilled turkey burger seasoned with garlic and other herbs

1 pound lean ground turkey
1/2 small onion, minced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
sliced cheese, lettuce, sliced onions, ketchup, mustard, pickles and hamburger buns, for serving


1. Combine ground turkey with seasonings in a bowl and mix well with hands. Shape into 4 patties, each about 1/2-inch thick. Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours or overnight.

2. Grill, covered, on medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes per side or until done. Serve with cheese, buns, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, sliced onions, etc.

From my first bite, I was totally addicted to the great flavor of these Garlic Herb Turkey Burgers! The flavors were strong but not too strong, and the ground turkey (85% lean) was a great, consistent texture. YUM.

I want these again, and soon!! :)

These were SOOOOOO delicious! I couldn't stop exclaiming over how good they were all through dinner. They were a litte on the spicy side in my mom's opinion, so I happily finished the last half of hers. I topped mine with lettuce, tomato, salsa, and plain yogurt. YUM!!!! Thank you for another great recipe!

Great flavor!

Thanks for this recipe. Even though we didn't have Barbecuing weather, we were still able to grill these tasty hamburgers. It is now a family favorite.
