Grilled chicken breast served in a sandwich
3 servings
Chicken:
2 large chicken breasts, halved
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 C oil
2 splashes soy sauce
3 splashed Tapatio hot sauce
course ground black pepper (to taste; I like a lot)
cayene pepper (very little)
crushed red pepper (a bit)
seasoned salt (~ 1/2 T.)
8-10 cranks black pepper
Sandwiches:
chicken (see above)
salad dressing or mayonnaise
lettuce
tomato, sliced (optional)
bun or bread
1. Mix seasonings. Pour over chicken in a container. Marinate at least 30 minutes.
2. Let chicken set at room temperature for 30 minutes before grilling to allow the chicken to get to room temperature--this prevents the middle from being extremely cold, and thus not cooking evenly.
3. Grill according to grill instructions (our Weber Q grill takes about 10-12 minutes on medium).
4. Make sandwiches and serve!

These chicken sandwiches are definitely a 10/10!! The seasonings go perfectly for a delicious chicken sandwich. The flavor is slightly hot (just depends on how much pepper you use) but not too hot-- just enough to give a really good peppery flavor! With lettuce and salad dressing on a bun, this is a great quick and easy meal!
