Garlic Green Beans
Garlic Green Beans
Tender green beans tossed with thyme and fresh minced garlic
4-6 servings
1 pound frozen green beans (French cut or regular) 1. Place frozen green beans, water, and thyme in large non-stick skillet. Cover and cook at medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes or until thawed. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking, covered, for several minutes or just until tender. Drain off excess water, and stir in salt. 2. Push green beans to one side of skillet. Add the oil and minced garlic to the empty side of the skillet and cook and stir garlic in the oil for a minute or two. Stir garlic and beans together, tossing to coat, and serve hot.
