Cream cheese, extra sharp cheddar cheese, onion and beef combine to make this tasty homemade cheeseball
10 servings
8 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces extra sharp cheddar or colby cheese, grated
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 1/2-2 ounces thin-sliced smoked pressed beef*, finely chopped
2-3 tablespoons milk, if needed
chopped or broken walnuts, optional
1. Combine cheeses, onions, and beef in a mixing bowl and mix well. (I use my hands.) Add milk if desired to make cheeseball more easily spreadable.
2. Roll mixture into a ball; roll in chopped nuts. Wrap in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator until needed. Serve with crackers or pretzels.

*For example, the "Carl Buddig" breand meats; or, shredded "dried beef" from a deli.

This is a flavorful homemade cheeseball that's very easy to make! My mom has made this for years, and it's always a favorite at parties and gatherings. These cheeseballs taste wonderful and make great gifts for people. My rating: 10/10
