A tender beef stroganoff seasoned with onion, garlic, pepper, and sour cream, served over egg noodles
4-6 servings
1 pound inexpensive beef steak or roast, such as chuck roast, London broil, Texas broil, etc.
1 medium onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon oil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/3 cup flour
3/4 cup sour cream
salt, to taste
4-6 servings of egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions
1. Slice meat thinly; saute meat in oil over medium heat along with the onion, garlic, and black pepper.
2. Whisk together the milk and flour, removing all lumps. When meat is fully cooked, add milk mixture and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
3. Lower heat and stir in sour cream. Salt to taste and serve over freshly cooked egg noodles.

This easy beef stroganoff recipe is so delicious! It's mostly my own creation, using ideas from a variety others. It turns out consistently great and is one of my favorites! It can also be a great use of leftover steak! My rating: 10/10
