Beef and Tomato Macaroni

A tasty medley of seasoned beef and tomatoes, tossed with macaroni

2-4 servings

1/2 pound ground beef
1 medium-large onion, chopped
1 small clove garlic, minced
3 large tomatoes, washed and diced
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
8 ounces macaroni, cooked according to package instructions

1. Fry meat with onions and garlic. Drain grease and return to heat. Add diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, and sugar.

2. Cook until tomatoes are juicy (but not completely mushy). Toss with macaroni and serve.

This is one of my favorite tomato dishes. In the summer, it's a great way to enjoy fresh tomatoes. In the winter, you can substitute tomato juice and have a warm wintery "soup". It's simple, but SO tasty! My rating: 9/10

would have like more of a sauce to it.
I made it and everyone liked it but if I make it again I will add some tomato juice or tomato sauce to it.It was a bit dry to me.Everyone liked it though.
