A tasty medley of seasoned beef and tomatoes, tossed with macaroni
2-4 servings
1/2 pound ground beef
1 medium-large onion, chopped
1 small clove garlic, minced
3 large tomatoes, washed and diced
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
8 ounces macaroni, cooked according to package instructions
1. Fry meat with onions and garlic. Drain grease and return to heat. Add diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, and sugar.
2. Cook until tomatoes are juicy (but not completely mushy). Toss with macaroni and serve.

Having a proper amount of salt is important in this dish.

This is one of my favorite tomato dishes. In the summer, it's a great way to enjoy fresh tomatoes. In the winter, you can substitute tomato juice and have a warm wintery "soup". It's simple, but SO tasty! My rating: 9/10
