We all need a little creativity and inspiration, especially in the kitchen! I started this site to encourage you when you're having one of those "I just don't know" days. Browse through the recipe collection (it's ever-growing!) or visit my blog! You might find something that sounds good.
I'm just an ordinary wife and mom. Here you'll find our favorites; foods we eat regularly that we love! You can also read comments from others who have tried our recipes. My blog features what we've been eating lately. And, there are posts from guest chefs for even more variety!

Who is Tammy?
I am 27 years old, wife to Joshua and mom to two boys, Yehoshua (4-04) and Eliyahu (1-06) as well as a little girl, Ruth (1-08). My life revolves around our faith and family. :) When I'm not in the kitchen, I can often be found playing with my little ones, out at the clothesline, or enjoying a walk outdoors. I do most of my personal blogging here, but you can also find me on Twitter and Facebook. :)
Blog posts about our personal lives are filed under "Our Family". For more about me, see my post titled 27 Random Things About a Now-27-Year-Old, a family photo update and meme, and Bits of My Life. :)

We started this website in 2006. I'm still learning and growing! My goal is to offer everyday cooking inspiration through my personal kitchen blog and tried and true recipes -- taste tested, husband approved, pictures provided, and community rated!
So welcome to my online kitchen! Make yourself comfortable, and enjoy your visit! :)
How do I leave a review of a recipe I've tried?
1. Create a user account. The only information required is a user name and email address. The email address you supply won't appear publicly on this website. (We won't spam you!) The other information fields (such as "hobbies", "location", etc.) are optional.
Your user account will allow you to do things like leaving reviews of recipes you've tried, uploading an image to your profile, and leaving comments with your name and picture. You can also send private messages to other users.
2. Log into your user account. On the left-hand side, you will see your name with a private messages inbox and account options. If you click on "my account", you can edit your settings, including your password.
3. After you are logged in, any recipe page you visit will have a review box at the bottom where you can click on a number rating and leave your review. You can only review a recipe one time; after that, the review option disappears. You then have the option of editing your review if needed.
Using Recipes From This Website On Yours
We're always delighted to hear that someone has tried and enjoyed one of our recipes! And it's perfectly fine to post our recipes in your own blog! (As long as you're not, say, posting every single one!)
We appreciate a link to our website when you re-post a recipe from Tammy's Recipes. If you are using our exact recipe (e.g. no alterations made and the instructions we wrote), please include a link to the original recipe page on this website.
Our photos are copyrighted, and are the property of TammysRecipes.com and/or our guest chefs. If you use one of our photos, you must make the photo itself also link to our website (or to that recipe on our website).
Please contact us if you have any questions! Thanks!
Are you interested in being featured as a guest chef here at TammysRecipes.com? Well, here's how!
You probably have some favorite recipes... the recipes you know you can turn to when you need a meal that your family or your guests are sure to love; the recipes that regularly turn out great, and you inevitably get asked, "Can I have your recipe?!"
If you are a Christian and are interested in being featured, contact me. I will need at least one high-quality photo of your food (the picture has to be of food you made yourself!), your recipe(s), and whatever information you wish to share about yourself, your recipes, and your cooking style. You can share a single recipe, or, even better-- a whole day's menu!
Recipes published on this site cannot contain pork or shellfish (Biblically unclean meats). If you have successfully substituted a different meat for pork in your favorite recipe, you may submit that (revised) recipe and photo.

Using our Amazon.com search boxes when making purchases helps support this site. Thanks for your support!
